SRM Founder Chancellor Donates ₹1.15 Crores Towards CMPF to Combat Covid-19
Immediate relief contribution to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund
Teaching, non teaching and administrative staff of the SRM Group of Institutions have donated Rupees 1.15 Crores towards battling the COVID 19 virus at a time when the world was struggling to come to terms with a pandemic that affected more than 200 countries. The Founder Chancellor of the SRM Group, Dr. Paarivendhar, who was also a Member of Parliament of Lok Sabha from the Perambalur Constituency, has transferred the money collected to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund.
The initiative mobilized contributions from teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff across SRM institutions, underscoring the university's enduring ethos of community solidarity in times of national crisis.

National Service Scheme (NSS)
The Motto of NSS 'Not Me - But You' reflects the true essence of democratic living and selfless service. Started at SRMIST Delhi-NCR Campus in 2018 under the guidance of Director Dr. S. Viswanathan, Dean Dr. D. K. Sharma, Dean Campus Life Dr. Navin Ahlawat, and Dean Admission Dr. R.P. Mahapatra. Its sole aim is to arouse a sense of social responsibility through yoga, cleanliness drives, awareness rallies, innovative workshops, and special day-camps at adopted villages.
Blood Donation Camp
Organized on 19th Feb 2019 and on 20th January 2020 in association with the Rotary Club of Modinagar where students and faculty participated and pledged regular blood donations.
Workshop on Social Sensibility
A workshop on 'Social Sensibility through Technology and Literature' was organized on 21st Feb 2019 to create deep societal awareness among students.
Special Day Camp at Dausa Banjarpur Village
A one-week 'Special Day Camp' was organized at the neighbouring village, Dausa Banjarpur in Modinagar from 22nd Feb 2019 to 28th Feb 2019. 150 students and faculty members offered clean-up drives, health checks, and community building.

The Department of Management Studies organized a workshop on 12th Oct 2018 in association with PAHAL (NGO) to commemorate the 150th birth centenary of Mahatma Gandhi under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)
Army, Air & Navy Wings — Established under NCC Act 1948
The NCC Unit at SRMIST Delhi-NCR is a premier voluntary organization that trains cadets in military discipline, small arms, parades, physical fitness, and ideals of selfless service.
NCC Act passed in 1948. Functioning from 2020 at SRMIST Modinagar Ghaziabad across Army, Air, and Navy wings.
