The department of Science and Humanities at SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus occupies a unique social and academic relevance. At present subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Environmental Studies, English and Foreign language, are engaged by the faculty members of the department for various under-graduate and post-graduate courses of science and engineering departments.

Apart from this, the department also offers doctoral programs (Ph. D. Programme) in all of the above disciplines. The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, highly qualified Post Doctorate, Doctorate and dedicated faculty members and learner centric teaching-learning pedagogy.

The department regularly conducts national and international conferences, workshops, symposia and guest lectures.

Being a ‘foundation stone’ of engineering academics, the department of Sciences and Humanities aspires to shape the students and start their journey as professional engineers. Despite of being a service’ department, the department of science and humanities has gone on to attain a prominent stature for its teaching and research activities.

The department is committed to provide not only the high quality technical education to our students but also the leadership qualities through which they can create employment to others.
