Guest lecture on Cyber Security
Department of CSE organized an expert lecture on 25th April 2023 for students of B. Tech CSE (Cyber Security) on topic Cyber Security . Event was coordinated by Dr. Abhilasha Singh, Associate Professor (CSE) and Dr. Kanika Garg, Assistant Professor (CSE). The eminent speaker for the session was Dr. D. B. Nayak, Cyber Security Head, Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. Gurgaon. The key objective of the expert lecture was to insight the students about 5G benefits, advantages of 5G Cloud Computing in the industry, importance of Cyber Security and many Network Technologies. The aim is to promote research aspects in internet security, familiarize with tools available for network scanning (anti-virus, anti-spam and anti-spyware scans), identify and synthesize needs for internet security techniques (firewall, honeypots etc.), share information and practical awareness for data and system protection from cyber-attacks (prevent, detect and respond) etc.
Guest Lecture on Cyber Security: Integrating AI with Cyber Security
Department of CSE organized a Guest Lecture on 03 April 2023 for students of B. Tech CSE (Cyber Security) on topic Cyber Security . Event was coordinated by Dr. Abhilasha Singh, Associate Professor (CSE) and Dr. Kanika Garg, Assistant Professor (CSE). The eminent speaker for the session was Dr. Damodar Sahu, Director, Ecosystems and Partnerships Growth Partners Wipro, USA. The key objective of the expert lecture was to insight the students about the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of computer systems, networks and data, against cyber-attacks or unauthorized access.
Expert Lecture - Cyber Security
On 16th September 2022, CSI SRM Delhi-NCR Students’ Chapter in association with Department of Computer Science and Engineering , SRM-NCR Campus, organized an Expert Lecture on ‘Cyber Security’. The speaker of the event was Dr Debabrata Nayak, Head, Cyber Security Department, Ericsson India Pvt Ltd, PhD IIT Mumbai. The key objective of the expert lecture was to insight the students about 5G benefits, advantages of 5G Cloud Computing in the industry, importance of Cyber Security and many Network Technologies. The event was a great success because of the coordinating faculty incharges as well as members of the CSI core team.
Expert Lecture - Robotics and Automation
On 16th September 2022, CSI SRM Delhi-NCR Students’ Chapter in association with Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM Delhi-NCR Campus, organized an Expert Lecture on ‘Robotics, Automation and OMNI Stack Development’. The speaker of the event was Mr. Shubham Sidhana, Senior Consultant, AIRO DI, Gurugram. The key objective of the expert lecture was to insight the students about OCR, NLP, ML, Intelligent Automation and SaaS Platform. He discussed the future aspects of this newly emerging Robotics and Automation technology. The event was very informative and was successfully organized by Team CSI.
Alumni Talk - 'Emerging and Evolving Computing Technologies'
On 15th September 2022, CSI SRM Delhi-NCR Students’ Chapter in association with Department of Computer Science and Engineering , SRM Delhi-NCR Campus, organized an Alumni Talk.
The key speaker of the event was our alumni Mr. Shashank Ashtikar (2012 batch), Senior Software Engineer at Akasa Inc. South San Francisco. The objective of conducting the Alumni Talk was to make students aware about “Emerging and evolving computing technologies – How to prepare for a global career in technology.” Mr. Shashank Ashtikar discussed about the scope of front end, back end and full stack development in industries, the future aspects of Web 3.0, blockchain technologies and various other quantum computing techniques. The event was very informative and was successfully organized by Team CSI.
